Mass-Care has launched an emergency fundraising drive for the remainder of 2022. Inflation is hitting hard and we need to raise the funds for Stephanie, our Executive Director, to work full-time. If you're able to make a larger-than-usual contribution this year, you'll be making a huge impact. Donations to Mass-Care may be used for legislative and political work. To donate by check: Mass-Care, 1534 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02120. Consider making a monthly donation and becoming a Guardian of the CommonHealth.
Do you work for a company? Double or even triple your donation through their Employee Match Program.
If you'd like to write your donation off in your taxes, you can make a tax-deductible donation to the Universal Health Care Education Fund or write a check to UHCEF, 1534 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02120. Please note that donations to UHCEF are limited in the extent to which they can support grassroots lobbying, like the ballot question. Additionally, changes to tax law in 2018 means fewer people are able to write off donations. You will likely only benefit from making a tax-deductible donation if you're a single filer and incur more than $12,950 annually in charitable giving and other itemized deductions, or married filing jointly and spend more than $25,900.
